Emily Procter

 American actress Emily Mallory Procter was born on the 8th of October in 1968. She played Ainsley Hayes on the NBC political drama The West Wing (2000-2002; 2006) and Det. Calleigh Duquesne, CBS's detective procedural drama CSI: Miami 2002-2012



 



 Early life



 Procter was conceived on October 8 of 1968. She was adopted as a child by William Procter, a general practitioner, and Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. They raised her in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was 3 years old when she divorced her parents. Whit is her older brother and she is also an adopted kid.



 



 Ravenscroft School was where Procter went to school in Raleigh. Procter was a student at East Carolina University and was a member Alpha Delta Pi. She was a TV anchor for the WNCT-TV in Greenville, North Carolina. After graduating, she earned degrees in journalism and dance.
